Fitting GUIDE

How to Use

THE FITTING GUIDE

Wearnou footwear is designed to last—and with the right fit and care, it will stay with you for years. Each pair is crafted with precision and premium materials that naturally mould to the unique contours of your feet over time. But for that comfort to shine through, your shoes need to fit properly from the very beginning.

Our at-home fitting guide is exactly that—a guide to help you measure your feet as accurately as possible when a store visit isn’t an option. By sharing both the length and width of your feet, we can help reduce sizing errors and make sure your Wearnou shoes fit just right.

Below, you’ll find a simple step-by-step method to measure your feet in the comfort of your home. If you have any questions, our Customer Care Team is always here to support you.

Step One

THE TOOLS!

Begin with the basics: Put on the kind of socks you plan to wear with your Wearnou shoes. You’ll need:

  • A sheet of plain A4 paper
  • A pencil
  • A ruler
  • A sturdy wall or flat vertical surface
  • Your feet

Step Two

Anchor Your Foot

Lay the paper on the floor and align it firmly against the wall. Stand on it with your heel snug against the wall—this ensures accurate measurements from heel to toe.

TIP: Once your foot is positioned, keep your pencil within easy reach!

Step Three

Trace with Precision

Channel your artistic side—but aim for precision. Holding the pencil as upright as possible, carefully trace the outline of one foot at a time. It might take a couple of tries to get it sharp and true.

Step Four

Define the Outline

Using your ruler, sketch a rectangle around each foot’s trace. The top horizontal line should touch your longest toe; the vertical sides should touch the inner and outer edges of your foot.

Step Five

Create the Measurement Cross

Inside that rectangle, draw a vertical line from the heel edge (the side against the wall) up to the toe line, and a horizontal line across the widest part of the foot. These intersect at the foot’s length and width—your key measurements.

Step Six

Capture & Record

Measure both the vertical line (length) and the horizontal line (width) in centimeters. Repeat the process for your other foot, since most people have subtle differences between feet. When you share your measurements, include both feet—this helps us recommend the best size and fit for your Wearnou pair.

next steps

From your measurements, you can now identify your UK size.

If the result doesn’t match what you normally wear, don’t worry—just share a bit more information, such as the size you usually buy. This will help us guide you to the most accurate fit in Wearnou shoes.

Brand Shoe Size (UK) EU Size UK Size India Size US Size Heel to Toe CM

Shoe Width
Our shoes are of Medium Standard width. For gentlemen who wear a wide width shoe, we recommend sizing up a size. For instance, if a gentleman wears a size 10.0, we recommend ordering a 11 from our selection.

Trying Your Wearnou Shoes at Home

We want you to find the perfect fit, and a careful try-on at home helps keep your shoes in pristine condition in case you need to exchange or return them. Please follow these simple steps:

  • Choose the right surface: Try your shoes on carpet or a rug to avoid marking the leather soles. Rubber-soled styles can be tried on a hard floor.
  • Never wear them outside: Shoes or boots worn outdoors are not eligible for return.
  • Laced styles: For Oxfords, Derbies, and Monk shoes, fully open the laces before putting them on—this prevents unnecessary creasing across the vamp.
  • Loafers: Use a shoehorn or the support card provided to slide your foot in. This protects the back of the shoe from damage.
  • Walk gently: Take just a few steps to check the fit—avoid fully flexing the shoes. You’ll be able to tell if they’re too big or too small without extended walking.
  • Check the fit:
  1. You shouldn’t be able to slip your index finger between your heel and the back of the shoe.
  2. Your toes shouldn’t be pressed against the front.
  3. A slight heel slip is normal at first and will reduce as the shoes break in and mould to your feet.

Well-fitted Wearnou shoes should feel comfortable right from the first try.
